52DSThe 52DS is a comfortable, elegant, powerful yet easy to handle platform for daysailing — a merging of traditional shapes and structures with current generation materials, foils, sail plan, and line handling.
The design was developed largely around the cockpit, as that is the heart of any sailing yacht intended primarily for daysailing, and includes L-shaped seating with a fixed drop leaf table to port. A partially separated helm and line handling station, plus an aft deck mounted main sheet traveler keeps the guest area free from the inconvenience and risk of injury from line clutter. Down below, the main cabin provides a full galley, head, very large dinette, and near king-size berth forward. Though maximized for daysailing, the 52DS would make a supremely comfortable weekender for a couple or small family.
